When one visits FindACenter, one sees a variety of graphics. These graphics relate a great deal about the various centers.

Prosperity Centers can be easily identified by the fact that they are able to contribute to the work we do that supports them.

This is reflected by the fact that they have their contact information in the directory and control of the graphic space to the left of their listing.

The bar is set extremely low for any center to Demonstrate Prosperity consciousness by subscribing to a regular tithe.

We are a support ministry. Unlike membership organizations which charge annual membership fees. We have no fees. Our work is supported by donations.

FindACenter.com is a Serving New Thought Ministry which supports over 2000 Unity, Centers for Spiritual Living, Divine Science, UFBL and other New Thought Centers around the world through services & websites in multiple languages.

Centers that are prosperous enough to send the annual tithe to support the directory have the links activated for the listing pertaining to their particular center and may place their graphic to the left of that listing.

We understand that some centers are too poor to afford the annual $75 dollar tithe to support the Universal Directory and the Free New Thought Library and other work we do to support them and you.

These centers receive a charity listing pertaining to their center which may include their addresses, service times and more. The space to the left of such listings may be used by prosperous centers, by other sponsors or to communicate other things such as their need for a sponsor.

If a center is fortunate enough to receive sponsorship, then their listing may also include a phone number and the space to the left may be used by the sponsor until the center becomes prosperous and can afford to sponsor its own listing.

This is our way of thanking those who are supporting this important work which guarantees that people around the world can easily find a New Thought Center in their respective countries and resources in their native languages.

Scheduling Update / Orientation Sessions

Over the last 16 years since Serving New Thought Ministries began, we have tithed from 37 to 53 hours to every New Thought Center listed in the universal directory unless it is a brand new center. There are over 2000 New Thought Ministries listed in the Universal New Thought directly which can be reached by going to FindACenter.com, UnityCenters.com or CentersForSpiritualLiving.com. You can do the math.

Thus we ask that spiritual leaders tithe an hour a year of time to their own centers to go through the Update/Orientation Session which familiarizes leaders with the free resources that we have created to support their ministries over the last 16 years. We will be happy to tithe another hour to your center to give you the orientation and after the orientation to update your listing.

If we are on a support call, you may be brought into a conference call if the number you are calling from is already in our system, but if your number is not registered in our system or if it is blocked then you will need to leave a message with a phone number. Be sure and say your number at the beginning and end of your message, along with the name of your center and its country, state/province and town. We will call you back A.S.A.P. and schedule your update/orientation session.

We do not participate in Spiritual Politics; we list all New Thought communities. Whether small study groups or centers that belong to large New Thought denominations. All centers are treated equally. The only requirement is that the group is a New Thought community rooted in the Universal Principles. All Centers are listed in the directory unless they become fundamentalists or simply cease to exist. Any one may update or submit a listing. We do our best to verify all updates and new listings with the centers those listings pertain to.
A valid phone number and email are required to be listed in the directory.

We don't list New Age centers or fundamentalists and if they somehow sneak into the directory eventually they get reported. In one case we were informed that a listing was pertaining to a New Age Church that had a website selling a magic powder purported to heal all ills including diabetes! We verified this then gave them a 6 week suspension period during which they could appeal the decision, of course they didn't. They just complained and then in due course were removed. Needless to say they were upset about our decision, but we must maintain the integrity of the directory!

We also do not allow commercial listings in the directory. We get a lot of people who would like to put their businesses in the directory. But the directory was created to help people find spiritual centers not commercial entities. It is a compilation of public information.
